Patti Pape is a mother of five and a lifelong educator in Ventura County as a teacher and administrator. She is a LGBTQ+ advocate and an advocate for appropriate special education and cultural equality in education.

Patti has experienced mental health issues both personally and professionally and wants to bring about changes in legislation, treatment and awareness of the great things that can happen in a community when we share our stories and get involved in reform.

Patti is a member of the club of Parents with Children Who Have Chosen Suicide and  a supporter of services for underserved populations as a board member of El Centrito Family Learning Centers and the Channel Islands Gulls
