Why Is NAMI VC Moving?
While the entire staff, along with our volunteers and members, have loved the office at 555 Airport Way, as an organization, we’ve had some growing pains along the way. Covid-19 changed the landscape of how we function as an organization and as a staff. Our staff largely work from home now and we’ve found that doesn’t change the quality or quantity of the vast array of programs NAMI Ventura County offers. The reality of technology in 2023 means we can still answer your calls without being in a physical office. Additionally, our office on Airport Way just doesn’t have a lot of walk-in visitors. Bottom line? It just doesn’t make sense to continue paying for a huge office just to store NAMI VC’s stuff!
When Is This Move Happening?
NAMI Ventura County will be vacating the current office location by August 1st. It’s a tight timeframe for any move so we welcome volunteers who would like to help packing come by between 10am and 2pm Monday-Thursday.
Wait. Where Is NAMI VC Going?
NAMI Ventura County is currently working on securing a new office location. We will release the details as soon as we are possible. There are a lot of considerations in finding a new spot, including serving the entire county from East to West.

The entire NAMI Ventura County staff will still be available for you by phone and email. The office phone number – 805-641-2426 – will not be changing. How Can I Help?
The staff have gotten a great jump on cleaning out the many nooks and crannies of the office, but we do need your help! Volunteers are needed to help sort items, pack boxes, and scan documents. We promise there’s no heavy lifting involved (unless you ask!). Volunteers can come by the office Monday-Thursday from 10am-2pm or by appointment. Email Arcelia for an appointment.
