NAMI Townhall Meeting
A Community Conversation:
Mental Health Needs in Ventura County
Wednesday, September 8th
6:30pm – 8:30pm via Zoom
The Behavioral Health Advisory Board passed a unanimous motion on August 16th requesting the County Board of Supervisors to have an expert consultant review and assess Ventura County’s needs.
Similar to the assessments done in other California counties, a qualified independent consultant can take a global view and an outside third-party perspective of our county’s behavioral health needs. Their report will help our county to provide best-in-class mental health and substance use services while reducing locked treatment and incarceration.
Join us at this Town Hall meeting and share your thoughts. What is working well in our continuum of care, what can be improved and what is missing. Give us your opinions in your areas of interest, which may include criminal justice, conservatorship, residential treatment, housing, or other.
